I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
