'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback
Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year contract he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the first major honor of his notable career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly contemplate prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
